Photo Touch Phone, with chromogenic photographs. American. Circa 1975

A cool feature of cell phones is the ability to link a photograph with a friend or family member's phone number. The device pictured here, which was manufactured by Southwestern Bell Phones, demonstrates that the idea was first developed nearly 25 years earlier. A wonderful commercial artifact, the hirsute appearance of the subjects also permits us to date the photo phone.
