Andrew Sloat wrote and directed this short film about Winterhouse, the studio of William Drenttel and Jessica Helfand in northwest Connecticut, U.S. It was made for the Art Directors Club Hall of Fame in 2010. Music is by Roland Satterwhite.

that house is hot. as for the books, why keep them all? it's pretty obvious that it's just a hoard- c'mon, most of those books above mr. drenttel's desk can't even be accessed.

Nice shooting and filmmaking. J and W are no doubt super talented and smart. But the smugness. It's disgusting. Not one pinch of humility there. But then, that's how you get to where you are.
